The Shape of Home - X

This flimsy box with a diagonal crack and falling roof is an abandoned house that X once called home. X bounced between different foster homes growing up and eventually became homeless as a teenager. During this time, he was brought to this place and sex-trafficked for years. This figure represents his home at the time. Despite all the dangers present in the broken house, it provided some comfort to X to stay in one place. A squirrel-cat resides in this home, representing the duality of his identity and his transition.
