Earth Arts Survival Camp For Teens

S&S Ranch

Ages 12-16 | $400 per participant
1-week session, March 31 - April 4, 1pm-5pm

The Arts help us survive in more way than one!

Join us for a five-day exploration of Earth Arts with an emphasis on nature survival skills and emotional resilience. We’ll learn how to build a fire, make shelters from found materials, craft with wild clay, and learn about the uses of local plants for art, food, and medicine. At the same time, we will give back to the earth and our community by planting trees and making connections with new friends at the S&S Friendly Ranch in Imperial Beach.

The Arts help us survive in more ways than one.
We can use them to understand how to express ourselves, giving us an outlet to share and process our feelings and connect with others. Art also teaches us new skills! From dying fabric and making rope, to building a balanced structure or throwing a pot, art can give us the confidence and ability to shape our environment. This is especially important for teens, who are learning how they can change the world around them.
